On Wednesday April 10th, Vivature presented their partner Lenoir-Rhyne University with a check totaling $18,215.85. This was the athletic department’s revenue for the month of March by simply using Vivature’s billing solution. Lenoir-Rhyne received this check for doing nothing more than what they have always done, documenting the care they provided to their athletes.  “There are a lot of myths associated with the Vivature Solution, such as athletic trainers having to learn to code, or ‘insurance carriers won’t pay for this type of work’.  None of this is true” stated Muzzy Bass, CEO/President of Vivature.  “This is another example of great athletic trainers being true healthcare providers. As dedicated partners, we are happy to get the schools paid for the work they perform on all their injured athletes and will continue to fight for the athletic trainers and their right to bill as medical providers. We feel it is critical to their profession.”

10 years ago, when Vivature began providing a more compliant solution to sports medicine departments, they also educated their partners on the opportunity of medical reimbursements by insurance companies and understanding the easy process of generating athletic-related injury claims, by simply recording the work they perform. Once the processes were implemented, Vivature continued to successfully generate revenue for their partners and have opened up many unsung opportunities for athletic departments across America and the overall improvement of hundreds of thousands of student-athletes experiences.

“Earnings like what was presented to us today by our partners at Vivature, allow for resources to support our sports medicine needs that would have otherwise not been available. I want to express my deep appreciation to Muzzy Bass, Lance Wilson, Don Stowers, our account manager Roe and all our support staff at Vivature, as our partnership is proving to benefit the overall student-athlete experience. That has always been our top priority and I couldn’t be more pleased with our continued partnership”.

Kim Pate, Director of Athletics, Lenoir-Rhyne University

“Great NCAA Division ll universities are very wise in their strategic planning and budgeting. Lenoir-Rhyne has seen the impact Vivature has on their budget. As a result, they are able to improve the care associated with student-athletes and the medical records associated with this care. We are proud to have them as a partner and we look forward to helping them generate even larger checks”, added Lance Wilson, Vivature’s Executive Vice President.
