Today, McNeese State University was presented with an impressive $46,959.39 check, by their partners at Vivature. This revenue was generated simply by utilizing Vivature’s billing solution for their athletic training room medical services rendered.

McNeese State University, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana, fields 14 Division 1 intercollegiate sports in the Southland Conference. Their Cowboy Football team participates in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS/l-AA). For the past 5 years, their athletics department is led by Bruce Hemphill. Since heading up the department, their athletics has flourished on the field, in the classroom and in fundraising totaling over $40 million dollars. The Cowboys and Cowgirls have won 9 Southland Conference Championships and have been ranked as the No. 1 Louisiana Southland Conference School in the Final Commissioner’s Cup Standings all 5 years, including a 3rd place mark for the 2017-2018 academic year to post the highest finish in school history. In addition, and under Hemphill’s guidance, McNeese Athletics has surpassed the APR Benchmark score in every sport, every year. It is no surprise that the recent partnership with Vivature has also became an effortless endeavor for Hemphill to strategically increase the sports medicine department’s budget while also advancing MSU’s athletic training rooms, which benefits their student-athletics healthcare.
