We are always striving to find great partners like Vivature and generate revenue for NIU Athletics and do more for our student-athletes”. Tweeted by John Cheney, Senior Associate Athletics Director/Internal Operations last Tuesday, regarding the presentation of the check.

Lance Wilson, Executive Vice President at Vivature was quick to respond, “Northern Illinois University has a winning athletics program that has resulted from great leadership.  Our partnership has proven to be a huge victory for both NIU and their student-athletes. NIU’s leadership team took the initiative to act in an area of untapped revenue, compliance, and medical cost reduction that was not being capitalized by other schools in their state and conference. One of the hardest things to do as a leader, is lead from the front. NIU’s culture of leadership is the Gold-standard others should strive to achieve.  We are proud to be associated with NIU and help them continue to provide new opportunities to improve their student-athletes future.”
